Synopsis: "Left Behind" is the first gospel video-message ever prepared especially for those who will be left behind after the rapture takes place. Set in a news format, the film opens with world leaders, political theorists and "religious" scholars trying to explain the disappearance of millions of people in the blink of an eye. After several humanistic conjectures, the film then evolves into a Biblical account of the end times.
Dove Worldview: A very plausible set up, with TV reporters and news footage of calamities used to set the premise of a catastrophic worldwide mystery. Meant as a soul-winning tool, this thought-provoking video addresses questions about the rapture and subsequent events. Includes Biblical unravelings from Peter and Paul Lalonde, Hal Lindsey, Dr. John Walvoord, John Ankerberg, Zola Levitt and Dave Breese. Whether you agree with the end-times interpretations presented here or not, you will at least be prompted to examine the subject matter further.
The subject matter may frighten or overwhelm little ones. Some newsreel video has disturbing images, including a man setting himself on fire.
